Registration Option

This entry is for 16-17 year olds. Participants within this age range must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to register but can take part without being accompanied.

Children can only be registered (and must be accompanied at the event) by an adult aged over 18 who is or who has the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian.

Children under 5s are FREE. Children can only be registered (and must be accompanied at the event) by an adult aged over 18 who is or who has the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian.

Under 5s will not receive a lantern as part of their entry. However lanterns can be purchased on the day of the event for £5.

Fundraising

Your registration fee covers all costs involved in administrating your place as well as providing you with your t-shirt, lantern and your finishers medal.

Your fundraising is so important. We ask that you raise a suggested minimum sponsorship of £50 per participant.

We understand it can be difficult raising sponsorship. Therefore, you can make a donation today to support the vital work that Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria's Children's Hospice does in our community, and not have to worry about raising sponsorship.

Participant Declaration

By ticking this box you accept in its entirety the Conditions of Entry for this event.

You are in good health and know of no medical reasons why you may not take part in the Carlisle Lantern Walk. You enter entirely at your own risk and you completely indemnify Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, its staff and volunteers in respect of any personal injury or incident arising as a consequence of your participation.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged over 18 who is or who has the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian. The Hospice will not take responsibility for any one under the age of 16 taking part in this event without an adult with them.
